Between Chimborazo and Carihuayrazo
With Climb Carihuayrazo 5100m, 16,470 Ft
 |
Carihuayrazo is located just north of Chimborazo and rises out of the valley of Abraspungo. Its tongue-twisting name means "man of strong wind" or "mountain with much wind".
The climb of Carihuayrazo is relatively easy and can be done by those without any previous mountaineering experience. This is your chance to climb a 5000m. plus mountain if you're in at least average physical condition.
Set in a quintessential Andean landscape with llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, and local Indians tending their flocks; this tour will also give you a taste of the mountain cultures in Ecuador.
