The beautiful and little known farmhouse of San Augustin de Callo is nestled in the foothills of the Cotopaxi Volcano, San Agustin is built on the site of an important Inca Palace. In 1440 the hacienda was built by the Inca Huayna Capac. It is assumed that it was a temple or a palace. When the Spanish came and wanted to build their hacienda the used the Inca building and integrated the hacienda into it. San Agustin has 6 suites of which 4 have adjoining drawing rooms and 2 incorporated drawing rooms.
