Albergue de Montaña Cuello de Luna - Cotopaxi

Alberge Cuello de Luna, on the foothills of Cotopaxi Volcano, is a great place for excursions in the Cotopaxi National Park, Quilotoa's crater, the indigenous market of Saquisili and Zumbahua. It is one of the centers for acclimatization and a good starting-point for climbing Cotopaxi, Illinizas and Chimborazo, the highest mountain of Ecuador. It is only about 4 km from the entrance to the Cotopaxi National Park.

Hotel Cuello de Luna has 24 rooms with private bathroom and fire-place and for budget lodging there is a dormitory with 7 beds with shared bathrooms and also camping facilities.

The Albergue has great home cooked food and offers trekking and horseback riding trips in the surrounding area.
