Detailed Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival to the Easter Island
You will be welcomed at the airport of Rapa Nui and be taken to the hotel Otai (Superior Room). -/-/-

Day 02: Akivi – Ana Te Pahu – Puna Pau
Today you will do a half day tour to Akivi which takes about 3-5 hours. You drive to the restored Ahu Akivi with 7 Moais, built in the middle of the island. From there proceed to the Ana Te Pahu Cave, one of the biggest lava tubes of the island. Afterwards you will visit the topknot-quarry Puna Pau. Then you return to the hotel Otai. B/L/-

Day 03: Ahus Vaihu – Rano Raraku – Ahu Tongariki – Ahu Te Pito Kura – Anakena Beach
Today you will drive to the south coast and visit representative examples of not restored platforms, Ahus Vaihu and Akahanga. Then you continue to the Rano Raraku, quarry of almost 900 stone statues, 397 of them still lying or standing at the slopes of the extinct volcano with its crater lake. Then you will visit Ahu Tongariki (restored with 15 Moais) which is the most recent and biggest restoration on the island. Afterwards you drive to the east coast and visit Ahu Te Pito Kura and the “Navel of the World”. Last but not least visit the beach of Anakena with its restored Ahus Nau Nau and Ature Huki. There you will have the opportunity to enjoy the warm Pacific Ocean. Then you return to the hotel Otai. B/L/-

Day 04: Orongo Excursion
On this day you will do a half day excursion to Orongo which takes about 3-5 hours. You will drive up the extinct volcano Rano Kau, appreciate on the way the view over the whole island and see its distinct geological features and then you will continue to an outlook at the its crater lake. Afterwards drive to the ceremonial village of Orongo, where the birdman competition took place and you can see the spectacular petro glyphs related to this culture. Afterwards you drive down again to Ahu Vinapu (not restored) and the Ana Kai Tangata cave. Return to the hotel Otai. B/L/-

Day 05: Departure
According to your flight time you will be taken to the airport. End of Services B
