For good reason, the Arasha Resort and Spa has been consecutively awarded at the London "World Travel Awards" (The "Oscar" of the travel industry). Arasha Resort & Spa is located less than two hours from Quito in the middle of the richest, most biodiverse “hot spot” on the globe. It's about 10 minutes by car from Pedro Vicente Maldonado. With its ecologically sensitive bungalows, Arasha offers its guests a glimpse at the richness and tranquility of this most fragile region while offering the finest in tropical comforts.

Arasha offers over 30 dishes on its restaurant menu, both national and international plates, as well as special dishes that are vegetarian and gluten free. In addition, they have a large wine selection and a fully stocked bar with tropical drinks and cocktails.
The resort provides for a wide variety of tours and has activities centering on health and wellness as well as eco-education and amusement. The tours, both guided and unguided, include bird watching, a nocturnal tour in the jungle with torches, a primary jungle tour of the Macallares Forest, as well as tours of rivers, waterfalls and lagoons.
In addition, tours are offered outside the resort, where you can learn about some of the indigenous cultures of Ecuador (at an additional cost).
Among the activities featured at the resort and spa are its spring-fed natural pool, Chocolate Workshop, Artisan's Workshop, Primary Forest Tour of Macallares, Nocturnal Tour of Secondary Forest with Torches, the Cascades and Lagoons Tours, its spa with complete body & spiritual cleansing with a Colorado Shaman, and its "Discover the World of Yoga" program.
