Finca de los Suegros

Now you have the opportunity to live the real Ecuatorian live. You will visit an Ecuatorian family only 2.5 hours away from Guayaquil. During your stay you will be a full member of the family. The family doesn´t get visits of tourists very often and they don´t have very much to offer, but what they have they want to share with you. You will have a warm welcome in the “Finca de los Suegros”.
You will be picked up from your private guide at your hotel in Guayaquil in the morning and from this moment on we will show you the real life in Ecuador. First you will drive to a breakfast restaurant (Del Ter) in Guayaquil, where the Guayaquileños meet themselves and eat their breakfast. You can be sure not to find any tourists there. In the restaurant you can choose from a big breakfast menu and more than 40 different fresh pressed juices. We suggest you to try a bolón made from smashed green bananas (not sweet) with bacon.

fter breakfast you drive out of Guayaquil and will make your first stop at a little local market city called Naranjito. You will only find locals there and now you will buy fresh ingredients like fish, meat and vegetables with your guide for lunch later this day.

Then you continue driving and will find an amazing cultivated land with pineapples, tobacco, oranges, papaya, coffee, rice and many more. Your guide will tell you about the fruits on the way. But not only about the normal ones, especially about the rare ones that you have not seen before.
The locals will greet you when you meet them on your way on the road, but at the same time they will look curious at you.

By arriving at the “Finca de los Suegros” you will meet the family. They will serve you a little welcome drink and while the lunch will be prepared the proud owner will show you his land. There will be a possibility to hear about his daily life and of course you can try all exotic fruits which taste much better than the ones you normally buy in the supermarket.

After lunch you will visit a little “jungle sawmill” and there is also a possibility to have a bath in the river nearby.

The rest of the day you can spend time with the family and enjoy the countryside with them before you leave in the late afternoon to return to Guayaquil.
