Whit Minimum 4 Clients
Every year at the end of November, YANAHURCO undertakes the largest round up of the Ecuadorian sierra with the assistance of nearly 60 cowboys during a two-week period. About 3000 heads of cattle are herded down to the ranch and on the last day they are gathered into large corrals for vaccination, branding, and counting.
Is absolutely a unique event where any guest can participate actively either accompanying the “chagras” Ecuadorian cowboys on their long daily rides, or simply watching the strenuous task of rounding up the cattle while admiring the cowboys´ expert horse-back riding skills, their dexterity with ropes and lassos called “betas”, and their typical attires.
This is an exceptional tour and event unique in Ecuador, that can only be enjoyed during these specific dates once a year in the month of November. For additional information about the exact dates please contact us.!
