Santa Lucia is a unique hotel; it is actually one of Cuenca´s most historic antique buildings. It is centrally located in an elegantly restored colonial house with 20 rooms around a beautiful patio which was the background for a famous Ecuadorian movie.  

In 1999 they started the renovation of the hotel with all modern conveniences. The Santa Lucia hotel is a gem in Cuenca's antique building collection and you can enjoy the elegant atmosphere of yesterday in Ecuador with today's conveniences.

In 2002 the hotel Santa Lucia won the Fray José María Vargas Price for the best restoration of a historic building.

 

The hotel has 20 modern and comfortable rooms. Each one has the facilities which a boutique hotel should have like a private bathroom, a flatscreen with cable TV, safe, minibar, radio, hair dryer, desk, W-LAN Internet Access, carpet (except Suite) and heating upon request.  

The hotel has 3 restaurants, a Trattoria in the patio, a Café and a lounge with oriental decoration. The hotel also offers a Catering Service and has facilities for events and conferences.
