Hotels Description:
 Café Cultura is a European style hotel with 26 individually designed en-suite bedrooms, a café-bistro and a Cultura desk, accommodated within a beautifully restored colonial building. The ground floor features a wood paneled library, reception, café and three large stone fireplaces. Fires are lit every night along with an abundance of candles. In the reception area an open galleried staircase leads to 15 of the hotel's 26 bedrooms.
Each room features a private bathroom and has been individually decorated in keeping with the style of the house, three have fireplaces, one a sunken bath and our special suite has an exceptional bathroom with an antique bathtub. The remainder of the rooms have been cleverly designed at the rear of the house and feature some of the best decoration. A luggage store area is permanently available for use whilst travelling in the country. We also have a private garden area with tables and chairs to relax and enjoy the sunshine, while watching our resident humming birds do their thing.
Furthermore we have our Cultura Desk which is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm. From here we can assist your entire journey through the most interesting and attractive places that Ecuador has to offer, be in the Amazon jungle, a cloud forest, the Andean mountains or the Galapagos Islands. We have the experience to recommend the best options available on restaurants, museums, theaters, etc.
Hotels Accommodations:
Ground Floor:
These rooms are towards the back of the hotel, behind reception. Possibly the most original of all the rooms are found here, with delicate paintings and decoration.
Third Floor:
The floor with the biggest story to tell. The roof of Cafe Cultura was severely damaged a few years ago by a freak hailstorm. The roof was completely reconstructed and rooms 18 to 24 were built here.
Garden:
There are two rooms to be found in the front part of the garden to the right hand side of the hotel. These rooms are tremendously original. They feature a private wooden decked area in front of them, making them at-once part and yet separate from the garden.
