The Mantaraya Lodge is located at the Machalilla National Park in the Province of Manabi, about 15 minutes drive from Puerto Lopez. It is constructed in a Mediterranean style and is a perfect place to rest and do excursions to the nearby Machalilla National Park with its attractions like Isla de la Plata and its beaches.

5 days:
Day 01: Manta - Montecristi - Salango
Arrival in Manta and transfer by bus to Machalilla National Park, visiting on the way the Montecristi village, famous Panama Hat manufacturers. Accommodation at Mantaraya Lodge. Lunch. In the afternoon visit to the Salango Museum. Back to the hotel, briefing and dinner.

Day 02: Isla de la Plata
Breakfast. Full day visit to Isla de la Plata. Walk on trails. Box lunch. Swimming and snorkeling. Sailing back to Puerto Lopez to Mantaraya Lodge, briefing and dinner.

Day 03: Agua Blanca - Los Frailes
Breakfast. Visit to the in situ archaeological Museum of Agua Blanca. Lunch. Visit to Los Frailes beach (snorkel). Back to Mantaraya Lodge, briefing and dinner.

Day 04: Ayampe River Rain Forest - La Playita
Breakfast. Visit to the Ayampe River rain forest. Lunch. Visit to La Playita (snorkel). Back to Mantaraya Lodge, briefing and dinner.

Day 05: Salango beach - Manta
After breakfast, visit to Salango beach (snorkel). Lunch and early departure by bus to Manta to take the return flight to Quito.

4 days:
Day 01: Manta - Montecristi - Salango
