In the south of Coihaique lies one of the most breath-robbing landmarks of the Chilean Patagonian: Lago general Carrera. Two of the most beautiful spots of the region lie around this great lake. They are the famous ice fields, which lead into the San Valentin Mountain
(4,058 m) and the well-known Lago San Rafael with the Rio Baker, a paradise for fly fishers. All of this is dominated by the impressive San Lorenzo (3,700 m). On this round trip, which was released only recently for the tourism, we experience this area with all available means of transport: airplane, boat, and car, on horseback and by foot. The landscapes which we cross, are really unusually: Wild, original, rich in vegetation, glaciers which reach into the deeper situated valleys, fjords, lakes, rivers and mountains, which reveal their secrets and their unique beauty. An adventure that you should not miss.
