Colonial hacienda built in 1790, originally a textile workshop, employing at one time 1000 local weavers and spinners. Fabrics were exported to the USA in the late 1800's where they first received international recognition. To this day, the Hacienda retains the character and authenticity of its earlier times, making for a unique tourist experience.

During this time the historic "Treaty of Pinsaqui", a peace agreement between Colombia and Ecuador, was signed within Pinsaquí's walls.

The hacienda is like Cusin top quality equally beautiful, more history here, done with a lot of class, all is authentic, this is cheaper than Cusin, with wooden floors, old colonial furniture done with taste, the rooms are away from each other, with good size bathrooms. Wonderful food.
