Detailed Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival Calama - San Pedro de Atacames
Today you arrive in Calama. You will be picked up from the airport in Calama and be taken to San Pedro de Atacames. Here you can hike along the Cordillera de la Sal up to the Moon Valley. After watching the sun set you will be taken to the hotel Kimal. -/L/-
Day 02: San Pedro de Atacama – San Bartolo
During this day you will visit the archaeological museum and the archaeological sites of Quitor and Catarpe. You will be trekking along a beautiful canyon, which leads you to San Bartolo. Here you will set up your camp. B/L/D
Day 03: San Bartolo – Rio Grande
After the breakfast you will start trekking to the Rio Grande native village, where you will set up today’s camp. B/L/D
Day 04: Rio Grande - Machuca
Today you continue from Rio Grande to Machuca. You will be trekking about 6 hours through the Altiplano to reach the village of Machuca at an altitude of 4,000 m. Here you will set up your camp. B/L/D
Day 05: Machuca – Puritama – Tatio Gysers
In the morning you will be taken close to the hot springs of Puritama (3,400m). Before reaching them you will have to do a short trekking. Then you can enjoy a relaxing bath before you will continue to the Geysers del Tatio at an altitude of 4,300 m. Here you will set up your next camp. B/L/D
Day 06: Tatio Geysers – Caspana - Calama
Early in the morning you will do an excursion to the geysers. Afterwards you will drive on to Calama. On this way you will visit Caspana, Lasana and ChiuChiu. When you arrived in Calama you will be taken to the airport. End of Services B/L/

Important Information:
One part of this trekiking is done through water (river). We recommend bringing the following items with you:
- 2 pairs of trekking shoes
- swimming suit, towels etc
- if possible a small waterproof bag to protect cameras when walking
