Detailed Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in La Paz
Today you will arrive in La Paz in Bolivia at an altitude of 3,500 m. You will be picked up from the airport and taken to the selected hotel. The rest of the day is free for acclimatisation. -/-/-

Day 02: La Paz - Copacabana - Sun Island
Early in the morning you will be taken to Copacabana Sanctuary where you will board the Catamaran Cruise Ship. A snack is served while you are sailing to Sun Island, the legendary birthplace of the Inca Empire. Here you will visit the Inca Garden, steps and fountain and afterwards the Inti Wata Cultural Complex including the Ekako Underground Museum, the traditional medicine and the Titikaka Reed Shipbuilders display centers, the Pachamama agricultural Inca terraces, a handicraft center, the Intica lounge and at the Manco Kapac look out the largest variety of Andean camelids. The Inti Wata Complex at Sun Island includes a unique sailing experience aboard a huge Titikaka Traditional vessel for a panoramic visit to the Pilkokaina Inca Palace. For lunch you will return to the ship. In the afternoon you have the opportunity to interact with one of the most unspoiled indigenous Titikaka villages through an innovative program which is organized with the local community. You can visit their museum, chapel, school and a typical house. Then you are sailing in their vessels to an Inca holy temple and you can walk along Inca trails. In the evening you will have a candle light dinner and overnight on board of the Catamaran. B/L/D

Day 03: Sun Island - Copacabana – La Paz
Today after breakfast you will start the soft trek from Challapampa Village to Yumani on the south side of the Sun Island. The trek takes approximately two hours and a half until three hours. On the way you will pass typical villages with their indigenous inhabitants, camelids and you will enjoy the beautiful landscape with the island flora and fauna. Afterwards you will be taken to La Paz. You will spend the night in the hotel. B

Day 04: La Paz - Takesi
In the morning you will be taken from La Paz to the San Francisco mine. On the way it is possible to observe the beautiful Palca Canyon and the snow-covered Illimani. You will start the trek towards La Cumbre and then downhill heading to Takesi passing a beautiful lake. The camp will be set at 3,700m. This trek will take about 4 hours. Overnight in a camp. B/L/D

Day 05: Takesi - Kakapi
This day you will go in the direction of Kakapi in the Yungas. You will walk most of the day in a tropical atmosphere with beautiful views of the Valley of the tropical Yungas and totally crystalline rivers. This tour takes about 5 hours. You will sleep in a camp at 2,000 m. B/L/D

Day 06: Kakapi - Chojlla – La Paz
The objective today is the Chojlla mine. During this 4 hours long trek you will be in a pleasant tropical climate. After reaching Chojlla you will return in private transport to La Paz. You will spend the night in the selected hotel. B/L/-

Day 07: international flight
According to your flight time you will be taken to the international airport in La Paz. B
