Lodge Description:
Venturing deep into the Amazon rainforest, along the banks of the Napo River, you will discover Napo Cultural Center. A combination of traditional architecture with a modern twist will be the start of a unique experience. Here, you are invited to learn the culture and traditions of the native Kichwa Anangu people, with the lodge representing one of the most successful community projects in Ecuador. Sleeping up to 36 people in spacious, comfortable rooms, each of the lodge’s cabanas opens out onto a private balcony, perfectly placed to admire the unforgettable surrounding landscape and its many inhabitants. A delicious selection of traditional meals will be expertly prepared, using organic ingredients from local family farms, as preserving the unique ecosystem and cultural heritage of the local people are at the heart of the operation here at Yasuni Kichwa Eco-lodge. This fact will allow you to seize every opportunity, and explore the environment safe in the knowledge that you are having as little an impact on it as possible, while also supporting the local economy.
“The Galapagos Islands was a dream trip for me. Surtrek expertly guided me to a boat expedition, activities and experiences that created the adventure I wanted. Every day was special, as we snorkeled with sea lions, sea turtles and penguins, hiked and lear”
