Anahi Catamaran: Great Service, Great Itineraries

Given the numerous options available, choosing a Galapagos cruise can be overwhelming. To make it easier, we would like to present you the Anahi motor catamaran (M/C).  Constructed in the Ecuadorian coastal city of Guayaquil, this first-class yacht was specifically designed for cruising the waters of the Galapagos. As a result, she possesses great stability and is almost guaranteed to provide a restful and relaxing cruise.

The Anahi accommodates 16 passengers in eight (8) double cabins, each with large portrait-type windows with outside views onto the ocean, air-conditioning (A/C), beautiful wooden floors, and cozy private bathrooms with hot/cold water, a locker, and a closet.

On the main deck, the catamaran offers ample resting areas, a library, a TV-DVD room, a comfortable dining room and a lounge. On the upper deck, the catamaran features a charming bar and an excellent area for relaxing, together with a Jacuzzi that seats six. Above the bar area is an ample sundeck with lounge chairs for eight people.

Guests are attended by a helpful crew of nine (9) well-trained staff members, as well as a first-class guide who speaks fluent English and Spanish (guides in other languages – German, Italian, French – are also available upon request and for closed groups). These seasoned and service-minded staffers take true pride in what they do, which is to contribute to a memorable once-in-a-lifetime experience. So if you think you’ll feel like something refreshing after, say, a trek along North Seymour’s shore, the yacht’s bartender will be waiting for you with cold mojitos upon your return. Feeling a little dizzy? One of the crewmembers will not only bring you something for relief but also inform the chef so that he prepares a lighter meal. On a honeymoon trip to the Galapagos Islands? The crewmembers will play the cupid’s role and provide those extra “little touches” to make your cruise even more romantic.

And what about the itinerary? The catamaran visits the most remote and less visited excursion sites in the islands. Parallel to its service, the ship focuses on providing great itineraries. Just picture yourself walking across pristine terrain and having to make your way around the carelessly located nests of Blue-footed boobies and frigatebirds! Imagine feeling the cool waters as you swim with penguins on the earth’s equator and look through your snorkeling mask to see playful sea lions, manta rays and numerous species of colorful fish all around. You can also delight in close encounters with armies of marine iguanas, and hundreds of seabirds — including enormous Waved albatrosses, Flightless cormorants, and brilliantly colored Magnificent frigatebirds — as well as visit the home of “Lonesome George,” the most emblematic of giant Galapagos tortoises.

Such a “bucket-list” vacation brought to you by the Anahi, its guide and crewmembers focus on exceptional service and quality itineraries, which certainly makes this catamaran a great option for cruising the Galapagos Islands. Among the first-class cruises in the Galapagos, the Anahi definitely stands out, so let’s discuss how we can tailor your island travel experience around her!

“Everything was wonderful but the highlight by far was the 5 days trekking in the Angamarca region with Marcial. The scenery and culture was astonishing, and Marcial was the perfect guide.”Linda Bernstein

“The Galapagos Islands was a dream trip for me. Surtrek expertly guided me to a boat expedition, activities and experiences that created the adventure I wanted. Every day was special, as we snorkeled with sea lions, sea turtles and penguins, hiked and lear”Kris Dreessen
