The sister-ships Coral I and II both surpass the standards you would expect from first-class motor vessels for ensuring that your Galapagos cruise is a truly extraordinary experience.
Coral I: Built in Germany, the 36-passenger Coral I is a wonderful ship with a modern design and an entire teakwood interior. The Coral I’s 18 spacious cabins (two Standard Cabins, eight “Standard Plus” Cabins, and eight Junior Cabins) are graced in a nautical motif, with plenty of room in each stateroom for storage. The beds in all of the cabins are lower and can be arranged as either double (“matrimonial”) or as twin beds. Each of these cabins in the Coral 1 motor vessel has its own private bathroom – wood-crafted and outfitted with handmade accessories. The dining room is artfully finished and the ship’s sundecks provide a number of shaded relaxation areas. The outdoor deck of the Coral I is perfect for taking photos or enjoying the sun.
Coral II: The 20-passenger Coral II, much like her sister-ship Coral I, is a spacious motor vessel. Built in Holland and handsomely designed, it will give your Galapagos tour an exclusive and unique touch. The entire interior is made of teakwood and is fully carpeted. In addition, this ship’s faster paced cruising speed means more time for visiting the islands and enjoying Galapagos activities, while it’s smaller and more navigable size means less time organizing shore visits. The Coral II has 11 cabins located on three decks (four “Standard Plus” Cabins, one Standard Cabin, and six Junior Cabins). Each cabin has its own full private bath and is handsomely decorated with wooden fixtures. The dining room and lounge of the Coral II demonstrate a refined taste, while the ship has three sun decks – one open, one entirely shaded for outside dining, and one partially shaded.
On both motor vessels, Coral I & II, the cuisine served on board is delightful and the services friendly. Similarly, each ship has comfortable lounges and bar areas with large viewing windows and plenty of outside space for observing the sea and shores while on your Galapagos Islands holidays.
“I found Surtrek online as it proved to be an excellent, efficient company. Our 4 days in the Galapagos were expertly planned and we were never left without a guide - we were even walked to dinner each night and assisted with ordering!”
