Snorkel with curious sea lions, witness the comical mating dances of Blue-footed boobies and explore the islands that inspired the theory of evolution while you travel aboard the Millennium motor catamaran (M/C).
This small, sleek, modern catamaran sails the waters of the Galapagos Islands, having started her operations in the archipelago in early 2001 and undergoing renovation in January 2010 to her guests’ satisfaction.
The Millennium Motor Catamaran is a first-class motor catamaran, certified to carry 16 passengers in eight double cabins and suites. These quarters include two (2) spacious double suites (364 square feet each), and six (6) large double cabins (194 square feet each). (Note though that the two suites can each be offered for triple occupancy as they include sofa beds.) All of these cabins and suites have individually controlled air-conditioning, security boxes, private balconies and private bathrooms with showers.
Guests aboard the Millennium Motor Catamaran can enjoy the atmosphere of cruising on a small intimate vessel and appreciate the abundant private space since the Millennium's cabins are among the largest of yachts cruising the Galapagos Islands. The entire yacht is fully air-conditioned and features a large dining room, a lounge, inside and outside bars, three solariums, and a BBQ area.
The ship is staffed by nine (9) crewmembers, as well as a multilingual Naturalist Guide III who will lead daily excursions onto the various islands that constitute the "living laboratory" of the Galapagos Islands.
This is an elegant catamaran built for stability and comfort. She has a small cruise ship atmosphere with all the amenities of a larger cruise ship…ideal for small groups, families or couples looking for a memorable, romantic and rewarding experience in the Galapagos Islands.
“We loved the time at the lodge in Cuyabeno. It was so genuine and natural there and the crew was so knowledgable and helpful. Thank you so much for the recommendation of the real Amazonia-experience.”
