Constructed in Guayaquil Ecuador in 2006, this cruise yacht is larger than its Galapagos sister ships: Tip Top II and Tip Top III. A modern, air-conditioned Galapagos motor yacht, the Tip Top IV can accommodate 16 passengers in its 10 double cabins, with four cabins on the upper deck and six on the lower deck. All cabins have two twin beds that can be modified into double beds upon request. Each cabin also has its own private bathroom (with a hot-water shower, washbasin, vanity and lavatory), a locker and drawers.
The Tip Top IV motor yacht’s spacious social areas — both inside and on the outer deck — include a bar, a dining room, a lounge and the sun deck. These interior public areas are fully carpeted, and the beautiful teak floored sundeck creates a delightful place for resting and relaxing while on board.
With its 7-member crew and one (1) naturalist guide, the Tip Top IV motor yacht offers its passengers a supremely comfortable and experience-filled voyage through the Galapagos Islands. The multilingual guide will lead daily excursions onto the islands, while guests can also enjoy the use of snorkeling equipment and kayaks free of charge. The ship tours following four different 3-, 4- and 7- night itineraries, though these can also be combined into a comprehensive 15-day Galapagos cruise.
The Tip Top IV motor yacht is perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing! While on the ship, whether you want to watch a movie in the audio-visual room, read in the library, enjoy a delicious dinner in the modern dining room, or have a relaxing drink at the bar, the Tip Top IV is sure to please. Features onboard include a TV, VCR, DVD, a desktop PC with e-mail access, and a stereo music system.
In addition to all of this, the company that owns the Tip Top IV has become a leader in the Galapagos Islands touristic operations for attaining international certification for its environmental and safety practices. In fact, the company was awarded the Smart Voyager Certification for its sound environmental practices.

“We loved the time at the lodge in Cuyabeno. It was so genuine and natural there and the crew was so knowledgable and helpful. Thank you so much for the recommendation of the real Amazonia-experience.”
