With its maiden voyage on March 20, 2018, the Camila motor yacht is not only the newest 16-passenger vessel to cruise the waters of the Galapagos Islands, it’s also the newest three-hulled “trimaran” vessel in the region. With greater stability than a double hull, trimaran construction allows the ship not only greater speed and fuel savings, but – above all – this reduces internal vibration of the hull, providing a more comfortable cruise.
The Camila's Galapagos cruise itineraries include 4-, 5- and 8-day programs, each visiting the most extraordinary visitor sites in the Galapagos Islands. Guests will be accompanied by a certified bilingual naturalist guide. This crew member provides the extensive knowledge of the exotic plant and wildlife of the archipelago during daily land excursions and during water activities that include snorkeling and kayaking.
Onboard, the 10 crew members (including a cruise manager) are ready and waiting to attend to any needs guests may have during their stay, while the captain navigates with expertise throughout the islands.
With 8 spacious cabins – each with its own private balcony – the Camila provides an intimate experience and includes such amenities as an al fresco dining area, an outdoor jacuzzi, and an indoor lounge area.
